Emergency First Aid/CPR

General information on course

This emergency first aid health and safety course is designed for participants with little or no working knowledge of what to do in a medical emergency or life-threatening situation. After successfully completing and passing this course, participants will receive their Emergency First Aid and CPR (Level C) Certificate and record of training (ROT).

天堂mv手机在线mv观看Please note a minimum of 8 participants are required for this course to proceed. This also includes Saturday/Sunday bookings. Advanced Consulting and Training Ltd will provide 24 hours’ notice if a course change of date is required.

Duration:

One full day depending on the size of group and participant interaction.

Who Should Attend:

This course has been designed for individuals who wish to be certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR (Level C).

What You Will Learn:

After completing this health and safety training session, participants will understand:

  • The legislative requirements (Government Regulations, CSA Standards and Manufacturers’ Guidelines and Principles);
  • The duties and responsibilities of all workplace stakeholders;
  • Human airways, breathing and circulation;
  • Communicable diseases;
  • Rescue breathing.

After This Workshop You Will Be Able To:

  • Assist someone who is experiencing a heart attack or stroke;
  • Respond appropriately when someone is choking or goes into shock;
  • Dress wounds and stop bleeding;
  • Respond appropriately to muscular/skeletal emergencies;
  • Deal with diabetic emergencies;
  • Use an Automated External Defibrillation unit.
